Job Description:
We are seeking a licensed behavioral health clinician (Master’s level) who is passionate about working with individuals, couples or families, and whose interest lies in ADHD/executive functioning, trauma/complex PTSD, anxiety/OCD, addiction, and related mental-health challenges. You will join a collaborative team supporting your growth, client outcomes, and professional development.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct clinical assessments, diagnostic impressions, individual/ couples/ family therapy sessions, and create treatment plans.
Employ evidence-based models such as CBT, DBT, ACT, EMDR, CPT, etc in treating ADHD, anxiety, trauma/ PTSD, addiction and relationship issues.
Guide clients to develop coping strategies and self-management skills for executive functioning, motivational or organizational deficits, anxiety, trauma responses and addictive behaviours.
Respond to client inquiries (phone, email, website) within 24 hours; maintain timely documentation and professional interactions.
Collaborate with client’s broader support system (schools, psychiatrists, PCPs, families) when appropriate.
Attend supervision, trainings, team meetings; abide by professional ethics, state licensure requirements, and agency policies.
Qualifications
Master’s or higher in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology or related field.
Valid Ohio license: LSW/LISW, LPC/LPCC, MFT/IMFT.
Minimum one year’s experience in public behavioral-health or private practice settings.
Strong interest or experience in ADHD/Neurodiversity, trauma, anxiety, addiction, LGBTQ+ care.
Excellent organizational skills, empathy, self-awareness, capacity for independent work and team collaboration.
Uphold ethical and professional standards in alignment with state licensure requirements and Mind Trek Counseling’s policies and values.
